Amish County Bike Tour

The Amish Country Bike Tour or the infamous “Ride for Pie” (presented by Bike Delaware) is a Kent County, Delaware tradition that has consistently attracted thousands of cyclists for nearly 40 years. Started in 1987 by a local cycling club, the ACBT has a nationally acclaimed reputation that attracts cyclists from over 20 states and the District of Columbia. The money raised by the ACBT supports Bike Delaware’s operational expenses, provides donations to various community partners, and will support a safer intersection feasibility study grant program.

Project Brief

KENNEDY is proudly serving as the event management company for the 38th (2024) and 39th (2025) Annual Amish County Bike Tour. The event features 5 rest stops, post event festivities featuring food trucks, live music, vendors and merchandise sales. The tour takes place every September, the Saturday after Labor Day. Routes begin and end at Legislative Mall in Dover and feature 16, 25, 50, 62 or 100 miles through a peaceful, flat, Amish Countryside spanning from Smyrna to Felton and West Dover.

Kennedy as the event coordinator is providing vendor management and cooridination, venue logistics and set up, sponorship management, event marketing, and media relations.
